Aloha and Welcome to Condo B7 in sunny South Maui! This vacation home has a newly upgraded granite counter top in the kitchen and new Mitsubishi A/Cs in the living area, bedroom and loft.
Kihei Sands Condominium sits directly on one of Maui’s best beaches, Sugar Beach. From our oceanfront pool and barbecue patio area you can practically touch the beach - clean, sandy, unpopulated, and stretching for miles in either direction. How far is it to the beach? Literally around 6 feet! Our Patio and lawn areas are idyllic. Enjoy each morning with fresh brewed coffee and each evening watching a spectacular Sunset while you grill dinner and sip a beverage.
Kihei Sands is a special place full of the Aloha spirit. Our intimate layout provides the perfect location for reunions, group getaways, honeymooners, seniors, families, couples and friends. With 22 units to choose from it’s easy to find the perfect fit for everyone in your group, from number of bedrooms (1, 2 & 3) to bed configurations.
Kihei Sands offers a wonderful alternative to crowded resorts with the intimate nature of our complex offering only 29 units total. To promote the health and safety of our guests and staff we have put into practice an enhanced protocol for vacation rental cleanliness: Kihei Sands Superior Clean. Our new cleaning program meets or exceeds CDC recommendations and aligns with guidance from hospitality industry experts. Our goal is to provide even more support and protection to everyone in the Kihei Sands community.
A short walk down the beach you’ll find several eateries and shops, including a Fresh Produce Market, ABC Store, Bakery, Shave Ice, and a small diner. There are numerous dining and shopping options within a couple miles of Kihei Sands. Our central location makes it easy to access all that Maui has to offer.

Our family had such a great vacation in Maui. Much of it was due to coming home every night to a charming unit that had lots of space and newer appliances to make for a comfortable stay. Getting up every morning and enjoying a coffee on the lanai was a delight as was the view of the ocean beside the palm trees. The grounds are meticulously kept and any issues or questions we had were cheerfully taken care of.

I was referred by a friend of the Kihei Sands. We were in condo B7, and loved how close we were to the ocean. I enjoyed sleeping with my window open and hearing the crash of the waves at night. The condo had everything I needed. I loved how small this complex was, and made it quiet. The location is amazing. You can walk down the beach to Sugar bakery and shaved ice. It was perfect when we decided to explore the island.

We had a great time at Kihei Sands, and ended up having pretty great weather, and a couple of beautiful sunsets. There was one issue with the downstairs people complaining about us being heavy footed, which wasn't us. There were a bunch of kids running up and down the walkway on the second floor. Didn't bother us, it's vacation and kids love the beach. Also a few missing housekeeping items in our condos, but the staff was very helpful and very nice, and we got squared away.

We loved our stay in B7! The place was clean and everything worked great for our family of four. We ended up donating some beach chairs to this unit as the chairs that were available were getting pretty old. Plus, we enjoy the low beach chairs. The grounds were beautiful and it’s right on the beach. The location is perfect as you can easily travel to anywhere on the island without it taking too long. We highly recommend Kihei Sands!

We were in Maui for my daughter’s wedding which was held about 100 feet away. About 10 family members rented 5 units. The common area on the ocean was a great spot to cook dinner, hang out and watch the sun set. The accommodations were good and the location was great.

We stayed here while attending a wedding at Sugar Beach. The condo was exactly as described. The condo was in a great location; very clean and well stocked. We had an issue with the AC unit in the upstairs master but the property management took care of the issue immediately. The pool is small but sparkling clean and refreshing! The staff were all friendly and helpful. The nearby shave ice and bakery are a MUST!

My family had a wonderful time here. It is close to everything. The condo was very clean. The deck had a great view of the ocean. We were able to go right out and swim early in the morning. It was quiet and peaceful. The complex provided free coffee and tea in the morning. Great stay!

We had just 3 nights stay. Check in on the weekend was smooth, the door keycode worked and we were able to access our unit, B7. In general the unit was in great shape and fairly clean. We had a two bedroom with master bdrm in the loft. The 2nd bedroom had 2 single beds for our two girls. AC worked well, as well as ceiling fans. Location on beach is amazing, you can walk right onto a very long and flat beach, the best one we found on the island for a walk. Surf was safe as well, so easy to swim right there. Ample parking, we never had a situation where we couldn't find a spot. You definitely need a car to stay here, need to drive to eat or buy groceries etc. There is an ABC store a 10 minute walk away, but no sidewalk, so dangerous with all the traffic. The lanai was small, but nice spot for cup of tea/coffee in morning. Ok view of the ocean. We had a few minor issues, but expect the repairs will be done for the next visitors: The fridge door handle was broken and just left on top of fridge. Appears to have been broken for some time. Neither of the two safes were working, or we couldn't get them to work, so we couldn't lock up our passports. The shower curtain rod fell in the downstairs shower, was broken inside, and appeared to be like that for a while. I expect all are easy fixes and will be fine for next person. The default checkout time is 10:00 am. We requested a later checkout and thanks to Connie, we were able to get a couple of extra hours. Any staff or visitors we spoke to were very professional and courteous.

This was a well located property - central to drive almost anywhere in Maui. It is right on the beach (not the nicest swimming beach, but great for morning walks and views.) It has all the amenities - parking, laundry room, pool, water toys, nice deck with sunscreen and grills and morning coffee, and the unit had beach chairs, towels, and a cooler, so we were ready for all of our day trips. The management was kind and helpful with laundry pods, rolls of quarters, etc.The beds were comfortable and the water pressure and temperature were good, as was the wifi (all critical to a happy vacation.) The condo unit had anything you could need in the kitchen and was well stocked. The decor could use some updating/brightening/maintenance, but nothing major. Yes, it was expensive, but the going rate for the area. Strongly recommend for a stress free getaway.

The location of this condo can’t be beat. Literally steps from the sand, and you can hear the surf even inside the unit with everything closed up. The grounds and pool area are very well maintained. Parking lot is a little tight but doable. On site manager was easy to get ahold of and helpful. Coffee is available down by the pool every morning, and there are boogie boards and beach toys under the stairs for guest use.
The unit itself was fine for our party of 4... not exactly spacious, but definitely sufficient. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, nice big beach towels. The upstairs bed is a very comfortable Novaform mattress, the pillows were not comfortable for me but husband did fine with them. The cooler in the closet and ice pack in the freezer were very helpful for beach trips!
Walking distance to Sugar Beach Bakery for malasadas and Ululani’s for the best shave ice on the island. We also got lunch one day from Dina’s Sand-Witch shop next door... tasty wraps and sandwiches.

What a perfect location - walking distance to shave ice and barely a walk to the beach. I've already recommended the complex to family/friends. The unit was perfect for what we were seeking on this trip. The one improvement I would recommend is better lighting. It was hard to read books/magazines once the sun set. It wasn’t too big a deal though as I did most of my reading on a tablet with backlighting and the kitchen and bathrooms were well lit. I loved the motion detector nightlights in the upstairs sink area. Super helpful. The parking lot is tight but manageable. We couldn't get the coffee maker to work, but we didn't really need it. The balcony felt a little cramped, but we didn’t need it much. The bed was quite comfortable, but the sheets wouldn’t stay tucked in which probably wouldn’t bother everyone, I’m just particular about tight fitted sheets. The keypad entry was PERFECT. It was nice to be able to go to the beach without worrying about where to stash a key. We didn’t need anything during our stay so didn’t interact with onsite resources beyond letting Connie know we had arrived and saying goodbye at the end. The welcome bowl of goodies was a touching and pleasant surprise. We enjoyed all of the items. We’re very glad to have discovered this complex and plan to be back soon.

Unit and grounds are beautifully maintained. Parking was tight but worked if you are careful. The second bedroom twin beds have an extra 6 inches of soft foam on top of the mattress that caused poor sleeping conditions.

We visited from California and stayed for 5 nights. It was a great condo, just a few steps from the beach. We loved listening to the ocean from our living room and going swimming in the ocean every day. I cannot think of any negatives about the condo or the stay!

Beautiful spot on the beaches in Kihei. B7 unit was perfect for my family of four, kids downstairs and adults up stairs in the master/loft. The few interactions I had with the staff were very accommodating. Units were clean when we arrived, all appliances in good working order. Kitchen stocked with all the cookware I could need. BBQ in the patio area for our group to have evening cookouts. Coffee and Hot water in the mornings always available. More importantly prices were extremely reasonable, when our family returns to Kihei, the Sands Beachfront will be a likely spot to return to.

This is by far the best condo in Kihei for the price...especially if you want to wake up to the sounds and smells of a slice of paradise on earth. You can make your way to the sand and surf in less time than it takes to brew a cup of coffee (which they'll have waiting for you by the lounge chairs). Property manager is on-site and will make sure your stay is stress-free. Condos are well-maintained and stocked with everything you'll need. Location is great!

We loved the condo, it was well equiped, and everything we needed was there. John the director in charge did everything to make our stay as easy as possible, even under renovation. The only little thing we could say is that we could heard the sound from other condo beside. Other than that, it was a perfect spot for a perfect stay! The condominiums are in a great location! Walking distance from ABC store, shaved ice, paddle board rental and entertainment booking place. Not too far from Target, WalMart or Costco either. The beach is very private and hardly anyone will be out there. The tide comes up pretty high later in the evening so there isnt much of a beach. The pool is well taken care of and the condo has so many toys and water body boards for everyone to enjoy. You can see dolphins almost everyday and if you walk down to the rock pier, you can see turtles. My only complaint is there was ants all over the condo so dont leave any food (even cereal) on the counter. We put everything in the fridge. There was also a spider in our bed but nothing we couldnt handle.

Overall Kihei Sands is a nice place to stay. I enjoyed that there were beach items such as chairs, umbrellas , sand toys available to borrow. Beach is nice and very close to condos. My complaints would be that the units are small (family of 5). They do not supply much paper products- 1 roll of paper towels, 4 rolls of toilet paper, again for a family of 5 that won't go very far for a week. You are expected to purchase more on your own. Our unit had NO cleaning products, I had to purchase a disinfecting cleaning spray to wipe off counters/table during our stay. Laundry is open from 8am-8pm, however housekeeping is using it from 8am-12pm. We wanted to do a quick load first thing at 8am so we had clean clothes to go out and enjoy the day, but needed to wait until 12pm to start our load of laundry. Upon leaving, there's quite a list of how you are expected to leave condo, last thing you want to worry about on vacation is taking all of the trash out from trash cans in unit. Check out time is early: 10am and check in time is late: 2pm. Our flight got in at 9am so we had a lot of time to kill with 3 little ones.

Vacation rentals are a little different then staying at a hotel, we know this is an adjustment for those new to this concept. Our owners and staff try to provide everything that we can in our condos except for consumable items. We do provide starter items of paper products for our guests convenience and do let them know this prior to their arrival. A two bedroom condo can get a little snug, for those who are used to more space we recommend one of our three bedroom condos. We are a small complex so usually the laundry times are more then enough for all of our guests but we do ask that our cleaning staff we able to get the laundry done between 10 am and 1 pm if we have a lot of arrivals that day. We try to keep our check-out requests to a minimum and still keep costs down with a limited staff. Removing your trash is a standard for vacation rentals and necessary for the tropics. We are glad that you were able to enjoy our beautiful beach and use of the fun toys!

Beautiful property with friendly staff and an awesome location. We loved it and will definitely be back! My only read feedback is that it would be nice to see a little more consistency between the condos with respect to the amenities/supplies that are in each condo. We had to switch to a different condo half way through our stay - the first condo was very well stocked with dishes/tupper ware/beach items (snorkels/fins, chairs, coolers, ice packs etc.). The second condo had a much more limited selection of dishes and beach items and we had to go and buy a bunch of things for the last portion of our stay. Other than that, zero complaints - this is a great place to stay. Both of the condos were extremely clean as well which was awesome.

When our guests let us know that there is something that is missing or needs replace we do our best to provide the item to them if possible. Since the beach chairs, umbrellas and toys are stored out by our patio for all guests to use most owners do not provide these items in their condo. We loved being in north Kihei. The central location makes it easy to visit other parts of the island. We enjoyed the smaller size of this complex as we could leave our unit and be on the beach in a minute. The beach is wonderful and you can walk forever in either direction. Property is clean and well maintained. Only drawback was the mattress in the master bedroom of our unit really needs to be replaced. Also, the soundproofing is not great between the units. The pool is small but we preferred swimming in the ocean so that wasn't really a concern for ya.

The beach is just a short walk away! That makes it so easy to run back for snacks or short breaks. The mattress was replaced about 2 years ago. It was replaced with a soft mattress, so those that like a firmer mattress might not find this to their liking. Since we are a condo complex there is normal sound that carries, on occasion, from one condo to the other. Since we are a small complex our pool is what is allowed for the property! Like you said most guests prefer to spend their time swimming in our great big ocean! We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us!

They are super responsive to any questions you have. They go above and beyond with nice little touches and even mailed me a swimsuit I accidentally left behind. Overall a wonderful experience.

The property is in a great location and close to everything that you might want to do. Woke up every morning to clean outside furniture and the pool was ready to go. Other properties did not start there cleaning until later in the day. Would stay here again and again. Great for families with young or older kids have two teenage girls and they had a great time.
Can't wait to return!!

We stayed in the upper floor unit B7. The condo was great for our family of 4. The location is amazing, the shared patio and pool is about 10 feet from the beach. The unit it's self was a bit dated, but it had almost everything we needed, including beach chairs. There is also a shared stockpile of beach and water toys by the patio stairs for kids to use at the beach. The only drawback for us was that the upstairs bedroom is a true loft, with no door and overlooking the living room. It was nice mist of the time, but the east facing living room windows let all of the light into the loft at sunrise every morning.

Kihei sands is perfect. the location and common areas are perfect for what we were looking for. the condo layout was perfect.The four of us plan to stay there again. Carpets need to be updated in B7. Pool was cloudy the week were there.

We enjoyed our 1 week stay at Kihei sands more then any other places on our 3 week vacation on the Hawaiian Isles. We were in the B7, 2nd floor, oceanview from the dining table and the Lanai ( a bit small bit OK for the morning coffee). The unit is clean, vast ( 2 floor w 2 separate bedroom), ideal for a family. And very well equiped. All the needed beach equipement is available beside the pool, ready to use and included in the rental ( bodyboards, umbrellas, beach chairs...). Speaking of the the beach, its litterally 10 feets from the unit !!! The sugar beach is all sand, nice waves to play and not dangerous for kids. The landscape is manicured. Most of all is the warm greeting from Jonathan and Cheri, who are doing a fantastic job at making you feel at home.
Finally, from a practical point if view, Kihei Sands is very well situated. Not too touristic but close to all services, and central in Maui.
I definitively recommand this place !

We were very happy with our whole experience. The new management staff were fantastic to deal with and made us feel right at home. The setup is ideal for barbecuing and eating outside. The condo itself was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend it.

We have been to Kihei Sands twice and just love it - the location is great with the patio and pool right beside the ocean. You can walk for miles in the sand one way and 10 minutes the other way is shave ice, farmers market and ABC store. The place is well kept and Jonathan and Cheri are incredibly helpful and responsive. It's small enough to make it very comfortable and welcoming.

We have been staying here for many years. The property had kind of declined over the years. I must say the outside look great! Condo itself was a little dated.
We rented B7 for a opportunity to bless our family. First my son and his wife then my sister in law and husband. That room was so cute and comfortable they loved it!As always Kihei Sands delivers a restful and relaxing place. We love it here and they did too!Owners of B 7.....you did a great job of decorating and stocking your room. It was lovely. Thank you.
