Condo B14 - Ocean View

The Kihea Sands Condo was just perfect! A beautiful, CLEAN, condo on the beach made it so easy to enjoy our vacation on Maui. The staff helped us with where to shop for incidents, best restaurants, and places see & hike. This vacation willl be VERY hard to beat!!

Beautiful beach and location. Rental was ok, clean but smaller than pictures showed. Staff could have been nicer, seemed put-off and short when we asked for assistance on password information and 1 hour extra for checkout.

It was like staying in a boutique hotel! Only two stories, maybe about 40 units. Small enough to meet and get to know other guests, many of whom were frequent visitors. The unit was recently updated, and the location was perfect - directly ON the beach. Everything we needed for the kitchen, pool, and the beach were available. Would love to visit again!

Great Stay. Coffee and Tea on the patio in the morning to get your day started with great ocean view. Concierge office very helpful with any questions and advice on to do and see. Helped us with phone numbers for Luau's etc. They have beach chairs, Towels, Cooler in the room and on the padio available are floatation tubes and Boogey boards. Also on the patio are a couple barbecue's if wanted or needed. Would definitely stay here again.

lovely condo and grounds/pool however location is VERY windy every day for most of the day. You get some relief in the late afternoon which is nice for swimming in the ocean. Pool is not heated but ocean is warm and pool is only slightly cooler.

We have shared a condo with another couple, adult children & have had our grandchildren along with their parents in an additional unit. We enjoy the early mornings on the lanai with a cup of coffee which is provided, watching the sunrise, watching for whales & quiet walks on the beach. There is an ABC store, a bakery and a shave ice store, farmers market & a sandwich shop all within walking distance. Any issues we have had from trouble with the TV, a broken toaster, or missing kitchenware are dealt with promptly. The staff are super friendly and are available & onsite 7 days a week. B14 is a well equipped unit, there are ample dishes, servingware, pots and pans and a good assortment of small appliances.

We only had a short visit but the accomadations were excellent. Although very windy the first week of March, the beach is always excellent to walk and enjoy as it is never crowded.

Kiehi Sands always provides a fantastic Maui experience. It's location and grounds are ideal for soaking up the beauty of Sugar Beach. Our condo is always clean and well maintained, but our favorite part is the beach and pool area where we can relax and enjoy the view, the beautiful sunsets, walking the beach, and seeing the whales appear on a regular basis. The managers are always friendly and helpful, too.

The unit was not large, but it was perfect for our family of 6. The location on the beach was excellent, and we enjoyed visiting with the other guests at the property. Location on the island was ideal, kind of in the middle of everything. We saw whales and turtles off the beach every day.

We had a fantastic stay at Kihei Sands B14! The apartment was well equipped; very comfortable; with a lanai view of the ocean; but in particular we loved BBQing at Sunset and socializing with the other residents!
The shallow reef to the front right of the property is a little known gem, when snorkelling conditions are right! Sunrise walks on the beach whilst the outrigger canoe club are on the water, whilst sipping the prepared Hawaiian coffee is a great way to start your day! Thanks to Melvin, Bente and the team for making us feel so welcome. We’ll be back!

Vacation to Maui was wonderful. Weather couldn’t have been more perfect and the lodging facilities were right up there with it. Would highly recommend the Kihei Sands as it is very low key with not a ton of people everywhere. Also right in the middle of numerous excursion places. Easy drive to anywhere on the island.

This was in a great location. Easy to get to almost any part of the island-West side, south side, upcountry. the condo is nice to hang out at-nice pool and BBQ area and beach. It is a small area so don't expect it to be big but we were fine with that.

Kihei Sands was exactly what we wanted. The location was perfectly located on Sugar Beach. A 10 minute walk on the beach to great coffee, bakery, shave ice and general store. Impeccably clean accommodations! Awesome on-site management. The rooms were exactly what is in the pictures.

This property was perfect for our family. We rented six condos so each family had their own space. We loved the location, the pool, the common patio area and the proximity to the beach (steps away). The property was well maintained with a friendly helpful staff. We walked on the beach to the ABC store and farmers market. Short drive to Kihei town. Restaurants we liked were Coconuts, Cafe Olea, and Maui Brewing. Some in our family did Zipline, Surfing lessons, snorkeling, and luau.

This was our third time staying at Kihei Sands and we will definitely be back! We were really happy with B14, especially the lofted area upstairs. It was nice to have the extra space, though we spent a lot of our time on shared spaces outside. Proximity to the beach is perfect!

A very nice property, small enough to be personal amongst the guests that varied from seniors to young families. Very easy going, right on the amazing 7 mile long beach of Kihea. Great access to most anything on the central and south part of the island. Two couples, we shared a one bedroom loft unit - 2 twins and 1 King. Great beds. Good climate control. Great kitchen and kitchen appliances / extras including storage containers for extra food and a vitamin for smoothies. Knives were not sharp, but that is very common. A better sharpening stone would have helped. Free and convenient parking. Loved the stay, will come back in the future...... thanks for the great stay.

This place is the perfect location for spending time on the beach. Close enough to walk to restaurants, etc. The kitchen is FULLY equipped. I gave clean a 4 only because the floor needed to be mopped. We went on a sunset sushi cruise, road to Hana, helicopter, Haleakala summit, snorkeling... AWESOME vacation! Highly recommend and would stay here again.

We had a great stay at Kihei Sands for the second Spring Break in a row. The staff were helpful. The location is very convenient and the beach front property is second to none. We love how quiet the beach is and the calm water. We snorkled off of our beach and saw turtles! We will be booking again next year!

We really enjoyed our rental unit and its location while we were in Maui at the end of July. We loved the unit's proximity to the ocean, the patio and lawn area next to the beach and the central location of the unit to everything else in Maui. We had no problems booking, checking in or checking out. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We loved our stay in Maui!

Khei Sands is a very nice rental unit. The condos are located right on the beach. They provide you with great amenities from swimming pools, bbq, and kitchenettes. Our stay was only 4 nights but will stay longer next time around.

We had a great stay in B14. Great view from the condo and was equip with everything we needed. Enjoyed the great beach chairs provided to enjoy the sun as well as being able to walk right out on the beach. Great location as it was a quick walk down the beach for morning coffee and pastries as well as shaved ice in the afternoon. Would stay here in the future.

Travelled with our 14 year old daughter for an extended Spring break, 19 days total. Condo had almost everything we needed for our stay. We rented beach chairs from town . We visited other beaches just to see, we loved the quietness of sugar beach. The ocean was amazing, went in almost everyday except on the only two very windy days. We had a very comfortable stay.

We stayed in 14B. It was very clean when we arrived. The location is very central for making day trips around the island. The beach is great for small children, at least when we were there in late November the waves were very small. The staff was very kind and helpful and they take great care of the place. The grounds were very well maintained. There are a lot of beach toys for children so we didn't need to bring any.

We have been coming to Kihei Sands since 1992. The property continues to be well-maintained, clean, and a great value. The location is perfect--quiet, uncrowded beaches, short drive to Lahaina and Ma'alea, and within 10-20 minutes of airport, Costco, and Safeway (plus ABC store is 3 minutes away for those midnight munchies!). The staff is friendly and always working to keep the place in great condition. Morning coffee and weekly socials on the patio are a nice addition. Our unit had upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. From the time of booking, the staff was easy to work with and very ameniable. We will always come back to Kihei Sands!!

Thand. communication and organization from the Kihei Sands condo was excellent and allowed us ability to plan. The concierge service was an excellent addition. I must say we were initially a little disappointed when we arrived as there were 7 of us (1 baby) staying at the property, but it was otherwise well kept and conveniently located at a wonderful beach for kids aged 9. 7, 4 and 1. The team was also very accommodating and extended a late check out for an 11:30 pm flight. All in all we were very delighted and would readily stay at Kihei Sands on our next Maui vacation.

Kehei Sands is a wonderful location on Maui. The size is perfect. I believe 30 units and right on the beach. 20 steps and you are on the sand or in the pool. All the facilities are well maintained and the staff are great. More than willing to help whenever they can. The S'mores night and potluck dinner night really help the great family feel everyone has. You will love the experience. Make your reservation now!

Wonderful family vacation, for all total of 15 of us and 5 condos we rented. Our kids grew up on winter vacations with my parents who were original owners of 2 condos there. It was great way to celebrate all the family times we had then and now with our grandkids.

Our room (B14) was perfect, the staff and other guests were great. The room and property were exactly like the pictures we saw on the internet (on in real life they are even better!). Everyone made us feel welcomed, the pool was warm and the ocean was beautiful. The only issue we had was with the loft room, since it is open to the living area below we found that we could not use the living room/dining area or kitchen without disturbing the person in the loft. The resort had so many extras that we loved, BBQ grills, smores nights, the pool toys, laundry area with a leading library and extras cabinet. We loved it all and will recommend this property to our friends:>

Absolutely loved this cozy condo. Located right on the beach in Kihei where we could walk outside to swim, snorkel, paddleboard and run on the beach. Uncrowded, friendly yet close to all the necessities. The managers are wonderful and make you feel right at home. I also love the barbeque and eating area on the beach that we used every night. It was close to everything. The Ululani Shave Ice and ABC store were a 5 minute stroll along the beach. The Safeway is 5 minutes south by car. The beach was perfect and not very busy. It wasn't the best location for snorkeling as the water was sandy but it was shallow enough for our 4 and 1 year old.
We loved that the building was small. We also liked that we got to know the other guests. The weekly social events and on site massage were also a nice touch. The condo was clean and well maintained. There was minimal car noise.
Finally, the management was very accommodating and friendly. Our flight was scheduled for 11PM. I was getting ready to pay for another night just so that we had somewhere to stay until then as most places require you to be checked out at 10AM. They let us stay as late as we needed to without charging us the extra night. I thought that was fantastic of them!
We will definitely be coming back next year, if not sooner, and staying here.

Our stay at Kihei Sands Condo's was nothing shy of awesome, being use to a faster pass, Kihei Sands slowed us down and allowed us to relax in comfort, 7am and in the ocean swimming every morning, the warmth of bath water. Our condo B14 newly remolded and updated, very current with everything that you need to be comfortable, stop by costco on your way in get you weeks worth of food, and just go and relax, everything you need is provided, management team of site extremely friendly and helpful, ENJOY YOUR STAY we sure did. we will be back again.
