COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan for Kihei Sands Beachfront Condominiums

As we open our doors and enter into a new era of travel and while we look forward to welcoming guests back, we also understand that the needs of our guests, vendors and staff have changed, and we must meet those needs. In order to do so, we have implemented a new cleaning program for all units, and overall complex. This includes enhanced procedures and protocols that support the safety and health of our guests, staff and visiting vendors and or contractors. 

Cleaning Supplies and Procedures 

  • All cleaning and disinfecting products are according to CDC guidelines, are EPA registered and are aimed to limit the survival of COVID19 in key environments. We use a two-part cleaning process to ensure your space is properly sanitized and disinfected.
    • Part I will begin with a thorough top to bottom cleaning  and disinfecting process performed by our highly trained internal cleaning crew
    • Part II 
    • We have installed four touchless sanitizing stations across the complex. Sanitizer contains 70% ethyl alcohol.
    • Touchless paper towel holders with disinfecting spray is located  in both laundry rooms  
    • Housekeeping staff is fully equipped with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
    • We provide complimentary hand sanitizer in all units. Complimentary gloves and masks are available upon request.
    • Special attention paid to high touch points in all units to include:
      • Handles and knobs         
      • Remote controls
      • In room control panels
      • Entry keypads
      • Light and fan switches
      • Toilet seats
      • Nightstands
      • Telephones
      • Alarm clocks
      • Luggage racks
      • Flooring
      • Increased schedule of cleaning and disinfecting all communal areas to include:
        • Laundry Rooms to include: Washers, dryers, buttons, knobs and handles, book cases / books and posted signage requiring masks, adhere to social distancing and only 1 person in laundry room at a time.
        • Outdoor areas to include: Dining tables, chairs, umbrellas / cranks, bbq’s and tools pool gate, locks, toys, handrails, outdoor shower and controls,

 We also ask that all guests, vendors, contractors and staff do their part while on property by creating your own “safe and healthy zone” 

Hygiene 

  • Wash your hands with soap and water regularly, and use hand sanitizer
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when sneezing or coughing
  • Do not touch your face, nose, and mouth when your hands are not clean

 

Other 

  • Open windows to allow circulation.  Turn A/Cs  off when  windows are open
  • Disinfect frequently used items such as cellphones and laptops
