Walk for miles and miles on our beautiful and unpopulated Sugar Beach. Six miles of white sand - the longest continous stretch of sand on Maui, with Haleakala to the east and Ma'alaea Harbor to the west. You'll have views of neighboring islands Kaho'olawe, Lanai and Molokini Crater as you walk or jog this glorious beach.
Enjoy our refreshing, child-friendly pool with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the West Maui Mountains. No need to pack a beach towel! Towels are provided in all units.

Join us for our weekly S'mores Night on our oceanfront patio. Kids young and old love roasting marshmallows over the firepit! Each evening you'll have a spectacular sunset to share with family and friends while catching up on the days' events. Once darkness falls and the night skies light up, bring a blanket or beach towel and marvel at planets and stars from a chaise lounge.
Each holiday season we host a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day Potluck on our patio. Come share the holidays and talk story with your Kihei Sands 'ohana (family)!

Available for your use are: Grills on our oceanfront patio, beautifully manicured tropical grounds, our onsite office and two coin-operated laundry rooms. Beachfront access is literally two steps from our lawn.
Nothing beats the excitement of seeing whales breach (during winter months) from our communal patio. All year long you can watch the early morning Canoe Clubs row and compete just offshore - a fun way to start your day!
Fresh brewed coffee is served daily on our patio by 6:00 am, and we offer a plentiful selection of hot tea as well. Bring a coffee mug down with you and watch the sun rise over Haleakala while listening to the waves gently lapping the shore - a beautiful way to start your day.
The health and wellbeing of our guests and staff members is our number one priority, and as Kihei Sands begins to reopen our doors, we want to take every necessary precaution to ensure you feel safe.
We have implemented a CDC approved cleaning program which provides each unit and overall complex with enhanced procedures and protocols which include sanitizing-disinfecting with CDC approved products. The grounds have hand sanitizing stations and room for social distancing.
